Albrighton Club, Society and Voluntary Group Event
Saturday 14th April 2018
Red House
9.30am until 12.30pm

All ages – all abilities.........
....................there may be something of interest to you.

The Civic Society will be holding an event to promote
the Clubs and Societies of Albrighton and District.

Entry to the Event is Free with tea and coffee available.

The idea behind the event is to give these voluntary organisations an opportunity to meet and share information about their activities and to give you an easy way to find out more about them and possibly become a new member.

There are many clubs, societies and groups within the village, the types of groups include: sports clubs, cultural societies, charities, social groups, religious groups, youth and children’s groups, nature groups, musical societies, amateur dramatics, scouts/guides, computer learning, gardening/allotments, theatre/film outings groups, history, walking group and a broad range of other types of groups.

Many benefits can be gained by joining one of these groups. You can learn a new hobby, take part in sport, meet new people and help to support the cultural, spiritual and charitable life of the village. Participation in group activities also supports physical and mental well-being.

Members of many of the clubs and groups will be at the event to share information about their activities and perhaps recruit new members – you may just want to find out more, there is no need to join.

Each organisation will have a table at the event and one or two of their members will be there who can explain what they do and answer any questions you may have.
This is an informal event and you can go to talk to as many or as few organisations as you like.
Everyone is welcome, so stay as long or as little as you like
